"Designed for group 0+ and 1, the Maxi-Cosi Opal car seat will take your child from birth up to 3.5 years. It has a 2-position base which makes it easy to switch your child from front facing to rear facing in seconds. The same seat belt routing is used for rear and forward facing positions which helps prevent incorrect fitting, giving you peace of mind at all times, whilst the belt tensioners ensure a completely secure installation. This car seat has 5 reclining positions in forward facing mode. It also has a side protection system which offers optimal protection against side impact. The height of the headrest and harness belts can be adjusted at the same time into 6 different positions. The harness strap retention hooks allows you to easily place children in and out of the seat without hassle. Support pillows are included for younger babies and the seat covers can be removed for washing. All our car seats and infant carriers comply with current European regulations ECE R44-03 or ECE R44.04.
